From Verdun to Saudi Arabia

I thought I would share these photos with you to show what destiny has in store for us. The  photo on the right shows my sister Gisèle second from left eating an icecream cone (purchased from LeBlancs) in 1946 on the boardwalk. The second photo shows Gisèle in the engine of a Boeing 747 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 1997. She was an air hostess with American International Airways at that time and now lives in Florida. Notice the muslim headband (I forget the right term) she had to wear as the airline transported Muslim pilgrims.

Interesting to see btwn: the railing of the boardwalk ,the old Leblanc wharves,..I remember running along those fingers of their docks,.some semi submerged & a little slippery, the rental boats were usually half full of water,.........ahahahahahah it was fun to be a kid in Verdun, ...
I'm sure most of us (if not all) have some old family photos of the boardwalk. I know we posted many of them years ago on the VC site,.we should perhaps do it again.
I'm not certain if we can add photo's to a common album,or to any albums otherthan one of our own ? I will check that out, unless someone else knows this off hand. HF&RV
