I think it is about time. I use to vacation in the US many summers with my family. It has been years since I have. I think I just may go shopping this weekend in Watertown and spend some money again.
In the 50s the Candian dollar was worth 10 cents more than the US dollar. The US dollar is also taking a beating by the Euro.

Hi Carolyn, yeah, gotta' love that dollar today! We are definately heading to the USA,going to stay in Yuma,Arizona for Dec and Jan, then cross the border to San Carlos,Mexico....looking forward to the drive, should be quite the adventure ! cookie
