A street railway car on a busy street in the old city of Québec

...........neat old signs on some of the business's..............and the streetcar track down the center ,should be of interest to a few of out resident experts on all things streetcar & rail stuff................................

Les   The photo's of Old Quebec brought
back to me a time when I drove there in the dead of winter in my little ford
escort ( My first Car). I was with Lorne Bryant I don't know if any of you
remember him.
Any way It is a great place. We spent the day there
and then at then on the spur of the moment we drove to Gaspe.
When we got to Gaspe we called up another
Verduner Loroy Leggo. (Does his name ring a bell)
Lorne had'nt seen Leroy in 10 year's but we stayed
with him and his family and had a great time!!
It just goes to show you that when from Verdun we
had some great friend's that even time could not take away!
Have a great day Les !

Rene Brousseau 89 of Quebec City has passed away. Rene invented the May West cupcake while working for the Vaillancourt Bakery in Quebec City. In 1972 Vachon Bakery bought the rights to May West which remains one of Quebec Province's most popular treats. The Vaillancourt Bakery gave Rene a fifty dollar bonus when the May West cupcakes
started selling like hotcakes-Fresco
