As we know many recognizable Montreal area buildings ,signs,places,.etc have been slowly slipping into the History books,........
as to whether they are 'landmarks' (eg: Five Roses,Ogilvy's ,harbourfront sign).......that is entirely up to the individual,but whether they are readily recognized as parts of Montreal can't be disputed,......and now another
reasonably well known Restaurant ,will be 'Closing it's Doors' Jan 07 ,2007
"Bill Wong's Restaurant " is closing shop,..........better take some pictures of the building and signage, just for nostalgia sake...
Wong's has been a familiar spot up on Decarie Blvd,.....since 1963,
Montreal had quite a few Chinese Restaurants,.all over the city,..........seems like next to Pizza places,..Hotdog Spots,.....Chjinese was right up there............................OhWell................
