THANKS for stopping by, I do my best to acknowledge when someone leaves a comment,you do not have to be a member here & everyone is welcome. Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.

Yes indeed, in fact when I first tried to reply to this message, I got the "hmmmmmmm can't find that page" notice! LOL I have found today that hitting the "refresh" button gets me where I was going. (except in this case where I had to go back) Good thing we are from Verdun.............When things get tough....we try harder!
Yes, the hmmm thing happens fairly often...so far if I click refresh, the page will come up.
Boy, what a poopie trying to post pictures with the message. Tried upteen million times, but I persevered and got one done. Guess it's an on-going thing, but I haven't had any trouble with other MSN sites~~~~ only this one. If at first you don't succeed.........lol Cheers
Apparently MSN records all attachments sent by each individual V.C. member. I got a notice I exceeded my limit. I had to erase half of them going back a year or more in order to post another fresh picture.
Bill, I think you only have so much space allotted to your membership. That's why many people apply with different membership names, and therefore get more space allotted. I believe you can also "buy" more space, of course if you have the $$$. Cheers.
Tell me about the MSN Woes! I haven't had so many problems as I've had lately. Let's see how it goes! I keep on getting the "hmmmm" too or it tells me that my password or email is incorrect. Claroleca

I'm getting a lot of 'can't find that page when I hit reply etc., Could it be that we are overloading the site and should keep posts as short as possible? Ed
I would say that couldn't be the case Ed,.as it doesn't matter how large a post is,....(there is an automatic limit to that anywau) ,.but most msg's disappear before they even have a chance to be posted,.... This is not isolated ,as I have had many friends tell me they are experiencing the same sort of thing,.......MSN has had glitches ,since it's beginnings,and do not seem to have any rhyme nor reason to the episodes,......I often wondered if they (MSN) (Microsoft) ,sells it's usage to large corporations ,which at peak times can jam up the system? Who Knows,... at least it works most of the time.....
Interesting Les, While we're talking about an unstable program, does anyone else find Microsoft Word to be unstable? Ed
I was beginning to think that I had posted a site stopper again. Where is everyone? I just hate it when I post a message and all activity seems to stop. The taxi driver in Les' last post (Buildings around Verdun/Montreal) , reminds me of my dad. He drove taxi in and around Verdun. had dreams of owning his own, maybe so he could have plastic seats (LOL), but never realized it.
