ice storm

An ice storm started last nigh at 11:15. We went to bed figuring we would wake up to our area being devasted by all the ice. Well, I got up this morning at 5:15, and there was no ice, and it was raining. The temperature heated up overnight and am  I one happy camper this morning. Hope the storm up  north has passed, and that things are getting better.

Good Morning Winston,......the storm conditions for the most part have past : it started raining last night and amazingly enough,Most of the snow has disappeared.....................Yahoo,.................... but I guess over night temps' dropped and turned all the side streets into skating rinks.......... I just came back in ,and all the sidewalks are quite slippery./////// Funny but as you mentioned the other day ,...the Weather Forecasters are basically full of $h_t,.................hahahaha  cause the call for Bad weather is usually right on,......but the call for milder temps ,and everything melting ,is basically just a 'crapshoot'........Heavy on the Crap,...........hahahahaha but as the daytime temps rise ,the icy, conditions should subside: but most of our snow is gone,.....just dealing with the 'black ice' stuff Glad to hear you guys missed the called for stuff,.......Noone needs that ,and it's just a pain to deal with......................
