Thanks to all who attended the reunion last Saturday. I had a great time and hope you all did too. Special thanks to all who pitched in for the half and half. Rhonda and I collected $403.00 in like 15 minutes. Congatulations to Kurt and Kerry Wakeling on winning half and we were able to give Donna $200.00 towards the contribution she had made to keep the reunion on. Thanks to Mrs. McFarlane for her help,,, very much appreciated, Tracy Anderson for the nametags and welcome sign, and Sharon Cameron for keeping in touch with Donna throughout the planning process and her support.
So thanks again to everyone, I'm proud to be part of the Class of '81.

Great Pictures of the reunion, so happy you put them on the site. OMGosh I have not seen Olga (who was my first best friend, when I was a wee one) in eons. I wish I had gone now, oh well, more regrets. Looks like you all had a great time......I am not going to miss the next one! Thanks for posting them.........
TARA, a big thank you to you for all your support during the last nine months of the planning. I had such a blast getting togther with you and Sharon to prepare for the big night. I had such a great time and did not want the night to end. I said I would never plan another reunion but now that it's done and everyone had a good time...I would do it again in a flash. It nearly put me in the nuthouse and the poorhouse but it was well worth it. I hope you got a look at the photo's I posted. Let me know if you want me to put them on a c.d for you. Madeline, I was sorry you and Ross weren't able to make it to the reunion. Let me know if you are planning something for Verdun in the future and I will come. Also if you need help planning ( but not for a while yet...I need a break :) ) Take care. Donna

No I am not related to anyone here except my parents...all my relatives are in Scotland. I did go to school with a Bill McFarlane and he has a cousin Colleen, maybe they are related to Gus
Thanks Maggie. I think I know your brother Jimmy and sister June ? In fact my daughter was baptised on the same day as a Mckiernan child in 1998...a little girl. I can't remember which McKiernan daughter was the mother of the baby though It was a really bad snowstorm in March and I forgot my daughters christening gown at home (in N.D.G and the baptism was in Verdun ) Luckily there was one in the church that was to go into the bazzar so she wore that. How are Jimmy and June ?
