Breast Cancer

I received this information today from my sister-in-law who recently retired from the Montreal Jewish Hospital. It is very important that every woman reads this and everybody with female relatives and friends passes this info on to them.

It might just save a life.

Dianne. Thanks for the info. Something we all need to be aware of.

I would like to add something from the voice of experience, don't put off that annual mammogram because you are "Busy" and have to take time of work. I put it off for several years because I had my own business and it was hard to get away.  When I "got around to it" had to have surgery and both tumors that were removed were  malignant even though in only Stage 1, there is a possibility of more in the future. So, listen up you younger gals here on Verdun Connections don't put it off and you older ones too, get in the habit!!! Ruth

Hi Ruth......It is amazing to me, and I am sure for you too, even with all the information that is out there so many women do not go for their yearly pap and mammograms etc.    Men: you should been going for your prostate checks if your 50 years old and older or earlier if there is prostate cancer in your family.   Dianne

Dianne. Yup. Every year for our exams. Better finding out one way or the other. If they find nothing, we can relax till next time. If they find something, hopefully it is early enough. Tahnks for all the sharing. We are not alone. Winston
