Pride of Hawaii

Looking for a vacation getaway.
S.A.

Pride of Hawai
NCL America made U.S. maritime history by christening Pride of
Hawai'i, the largest and most expensive U.S.-flagged cruise ship in
history.

Pride of Hawai'i features 10 restaurants, three swimming pools,
family- friendly accommodations, a state-of-the-art spa and dynamic
public rooms. The ship features a new style of accommodations -- 10
Courtyard Villas -- which along with the ship's two Garden Villas --
make up the largest, grandest, most luxurious, most innovative suite
complex in Hawai'i. The suite complex boasts a private courtyard and
sundeck and both Courtyard and Garden Villa guests have a concierge
lounge available to them. Additionally, Pride of Hawai'i features
"Bar Central," a martini bar, a champagne and wine bar, and a beer
and whisky pub all connected, with three distinct personalities, plus
nine other bars and lounges for passengers to enjoy. Pride of Hawai'i
will sail seven-day, inter-island itineraries out of Honolulu year
round beginning June 5, offering 100 hours in port. Ports of call
include Hilo, Hawai'i; an overnight in Kahului, Maui; Kona, Hawai'i;
and an overnight Nawiliwili, Kaua'i.

We get a lot of NCL cruise ships plying our waters here,.and making both Victoria & Vancouver major Ports of Call for these ships,....These ships are very impressive to see,.....towering more than 10 story's high ,....and accomodating over 2000+ passengers,.......( a lot of $$$$ comes into the cities visited ),...... Norwegian Cruise Lines ,owns a lot of ships,.....amzing really how many company's are out there....and they all seem to make money,. Carnival Cruise NCL Holland America,......just to name a few, bt if you want to do an Alaskan Cruise,..in a little more 'rustic' way (sort of) ,.(that's 'code' for Cheaper..........hahahahaha,........You can take a BC Ferry to Prince Rupert (which is very close to the Southern most part of Alaska,.....then catch an Alalskan Ferry,....to places like Ketchikan.......... Think about a Ferry from Seattle to either Victoria on Vancouver Island (or Vancouver).......then continue up the Island to Port Hardy, then the Ferry to Prince Rupert.............   These were taken the week before last ,..but I will go down and take some better ones of other ships that visit,.....but I think you can see they are quite large,....I was taking pictures generally of the familie's on the boat,.so I didn't take close ups of those cruise ships,..... this coming weekend these same waters will be filled with sailboats for the annual 'Swiftsure Yacht Race'.........hope the weather is a little more accomodating for everyone here............ this is what it will look like generally:       I'll see if I have time to get out and get some shots of either some Cruise Ships,....or all the Yachts here for the Swiftsure (time permitting)............. .......................................................So if some of you Montrealer's out there haven't been here yet ,..Come on out,.......and have a visit,...We've got more coffee shops than you can shale a stick at ,......and I believe we 'might ' be able to find beer or two for those who like that sort of stuff.................hahahahahaha   I wonder which line would be longer?? I was asked by a member to place a photo of this amazing cruise ship
on V.C. I cannot because of my Mac operating system, but I have a
great picture and I am more than willing to do this. If someone would
give me their email address I could send it to you and you could post
it. It feels like unfinished business.
