Hi Poques5,

I looked at your pictures of the Holdaways made me  wonder if you
are related to Chris Holdaway. He had a trucking company and lived on Moffat
across from St. Thomas Moore school and next to the Mercers (Gerry Mercer of
April Wine).

Pogues5   Just love those old pics.  Probably my favourite is the welcome home one, with the flags.    This would probably be a very good pic for our "Welcome" page next November 11th  Remembrance Day.

Hi Bill;           It is good to see another member from Deux Montagnes in this group. Your photos are great. My Dad still lives in Verdun, and I am trying to find some old photos in his stuff. I like your occupation "watching the river flow by". I still drive to Longueuil every day to earn my living. By the way I live on 9th avenue just across from the clinic, and have been here for almost 21 years. DM is a great place to have brought up my children, much as Verdun was a great place for me to grow up. Maybe we will run into each other some time.                                                                                                                           Ralph Piercey, aka ''multipurposeutensil''
