Galt, Gordon, Rielle, Willibrord

Avenue Galt: situé sur une partie de la ferme appartenant autrefois à feu Sir A.T. Galt.
Avenue Gordon: en l'honneur d'Aim챕e Gordon, 챕pouse de feu Sir A.T. Galt, propri챕taire de la vieille ferme Galt.
Avenue Rielle: en l'honneur de feu Joseph Rielle, Maire du Village de Verdun 1904-1905 et l'un des arpenteurs les plus en vue de la Cit챕 et du district de Montr챕al.
Ave Willibrord: avenue sur laquelle est situé l'Église St Willibrord, desservant les catholiques irlandais, autrefois avenue Rockland.
 
Galt Avenue: situated on a part of the farm previously owned by
Sir A.T. Galt, deceased.
Gordon Avenue: in honour of Aim챕e Gordon, wife of Sir A.T. Galt,
deceased owner of the old Galt farm.
Rielle Avenue: in honour of Joseph Rielle, deceased, Mayor of the village of Verdun 1904-1905 and one the better known surveyors of the city and the district of Montreal.
Willibrord Avenue: avenue on which is situated St Willibrord Church, serving irish catholics, previously Rockland Ave.
                                                                                                     I also have a document dated June 10 1968 which says that a parc on Nun's Island is to be named  PARC WEST VANCOUVER to commemorate the twinning of the City of Verdun with the municipality of West Vancouver.
 
All this information is in french and I have to translate it. Keeps my mind active
