VHS basketball.

VHS basketball.

I received a few great photos from Judy of the VHS basketball team in
the early 1950s. I'll forward them to Maggie maybe she'll post them for
us.

Shazam!
Maggie, You have made me a happy man.
I was buddies with a few of these great guys during those simpler times
(1953 -- 1957). Teddy Knee, Richard Ince, Robert Goudie, Johnny MacLeod
and Kenny Harris. Teddy lives in Roden Quebec I think. Robert lives in
Ontario, and Richard is no longer with us..
Oh ya! The good old teenage days of Verdun.
Much aloha,
Bill Cooper
P.S. Also thanks to Judy for scanning these year books for us. Judy
what year books do you have btw?

Hi Sandy,
His picture is there with the VHS Basketball Team. He lived on 2nd Ave
in the 400 block. I haven't seen him in 40+ years but I remember he had
dark wavy hair and was relatively tall. He married Shirley Lawton and I
believe they moved to Toronto in the 60s.
Sorry but that is all I know. I tried to look him up one time but there
are a million Harris's in Ontario.

I forgot, my album is on the 4th picture page entitled 'Verdunite at
Heart'. The basketball team is on the 2nd page of my album, which
Maggie was so gracious to set up for me.

Sandy the name Loraine Day rings a bell. Who is she and where did she
live? Would she be a relative to Murray Day or his son Billy day?
