THANKS for stopping by, I do my best to acknowledge when someone leaves a comment,you do not have to be a member here & everyone is welcome. Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.

I was about the first ones who bought a Flames Jacket in 81 when they got the franchise, love the Flames. Hope they win and meet the Habs in the final. Revenge
Considering I live in Calgary now, I'm rooting for them. It was GREAT the one year they won in 1989, was here then. But as all Calgarians know, they have a tendency to choke.

I have resided in Calgary since 1978 and have always been a Flames Fan. It is nice to have something to cheer about for a change! You would not believe the support the Flames have here in Calgary. Cars, trucks, vans, SUVs & motor homes are all decked out with flags bearing the Calgary Flames logo - I have even seens SUVs & Trucks with 4 and 5 flags on the vehicle. I wish I had the money spent on those flags.

After the game, they did mini-profiles on each of the Tampa Bay Players. If you watched, you might think that the Cup is coming to Canada anyway. I didn't keep count but it seems to me that most of the players are Canadians. The 2 TB goals were scored by the "foreign guy" that used to play here on our SJHL team. Yeah, Fedotenko!
