Old Times

Any body remember the little restaurant around the cornor from 1st ave and verdun,
or the Hiway Snakes from the 50's.Looking for some old friends that hung around
there and also went to St.Willibrord school in the 50's.The poor police in those days
we drove them nuts, the only one thing they had going was they all knew were we lived just by looking at us.Then who can forget May the 24 all around 1st and second ave lane what a bomb fire we had ever year. So come on let me here from any body . I know your out there.

the little restaurant you mentioned belonged to the Pilon's.  They owned the grocery store at the corner and the son had the restaurant behind it.  They made terrific hot dogs.

Hey someone mentioned the Holdbrook's - I worked with a girl who was married to Brian Holdbrook.  Would this be the same family - he ended up in NDG.
